  1. Release notes for MailShare 1.0b8.

  3. Changes to this release:
  4. -Fixed the could not get maildrop -1 bug.
  5. -Fixed a bug causing MailShare to crash on 68000 based computers.
  6. -User information is now stored in the data fork of the preferences file.
  7. -Added anybody account.
  8. -Added encryption for stored passwords.
  9. -Changed the DNR so that is it gets an error trying to look up aditional information then it returns what is has already.
  10. -Added save as files.
  11. -Window sizes are now remembered.
  12. -Put the version number in the about window.
  13. -Added save as files.
  14. -Added incoming mail folder.
  15. -Changed MailShare to retry opening MacTCP every minute if it fails with an ipBadAddr.
  16. -Changed the account limit to be in K.
  17.  
  18. Known problems:
  19. -Problems with MailShare on Quadra 660AVs.
  20. -MailShare does not expand address headers.
  21.  
  22. Work still to be done for version 1.0:
  23. -Remembering scroll bar positions and if windows are open or closed.
  24. -Restrictions on what numbers can be put in various preferences.
  25. -Standard file for mailing list and save as forwarding options.

  29. -Full listserv capabilities
  30. -AppleScript support
  31. -Handling mail on a host by host basis, not message by message
